Lustre has a soft sheen with a fine texture. It shows less glare and fingerprints, so it suits prints that get passed around and held.
Glossy is smooth and bright with deeper blacks. Lovely behind glass or in an album sleeve.

Your photo
Will you change faces?
No. We never change who is in the photo. We repair damage like cracks, tears, stains and fading, and we keep every face and every person just as they were.
Can I keep my original?
Yes. We never need your original. A scan or a phone photo of the print works, so your original stays safe at home.
How do I take a good photo of an old print?
- Take the print out of its frame or album sleeve. Glass and plastic cause glare.
- Lay it flat near a window in daylight. Turn the flash off.
- Hold your phone directly above the photo, level with it, not at an angle.
- Fill the screen with the photo, and include the edges.
- Wipe your phone's camera lens first. Tap the screen on the photo to focus.
What kinds of damage can you fix?
Cracks, creases, tears, missing corners, water stains, spots, scratches, dust and fading. Very badly damaged photos can often be saved too. Send it, and you will see the result before you pay.
How is the restoration done?
We restore photos with careful digital tools, and you approve every result before you pay.
Can you add color to a black and white photo?
Yes, if you want it. Color is your choice. Many people keep the photo black and white, and that looks wonderful too.
My photo is already restored. Can you just print it?
Yes. Choose "It's already restored" when you start, and we go straight to printing.
Prints and orders
What sizes and prices do you offer?
5x7 for $29, 8x10 for $39 and 11x14 for $59. Restoration is included. Shipping is calculated at checkout.
Will my photo be cropped?
No. We keep your whole photo and add a clean white border around it. Cropping only happens if you ask for it.
When will my prints arrive?
Prints ship in 3 to 5 business days after you approve your photo.
What if my print arrives damaged?
We reprint it or refund you. Just send us a photo of the problem at hello@oldphotoprints.com.
What happens to my photos afterward?
We delete your photos once your order is done. We only use them to make your prints.
About
Every family has a box of photos.
Ours was a shoebox under a bed. Wedding portraits with torn corners. Porch steps and picnics, faded to almost nothing. Faces we wanted to know better.
Old Photo Prints exists so those pictures can come out of the box and into your hands again. You send a scan or a phone photo. We carefully repair the damage, you approve the result, and we mail you a real print.
We keep the promise simple: we never change who is in your photo, you see the result before you pay, and if a print arrives damaged or wrong, we make it right.

Your family photos are personal. Here is how we handle them, in plain words.
What we collect
- The photos you upload.
- Your name, email, and shipping address, so we can send your order.
- Payment details, handled by our secure payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
How we use it
We use your photos only to restore and print your order. We share your photo and shipping details only with the service providers who make, ship and take payment for your order. We do not sell your information or your photos, we never use them to train anything, and we do not use them for advertising.
How long we keep it
Photos from orders that are never placed are deleted after 7 days. Photos from completed orders are deleted 30 days after delivery. We keep basic order records as the law requires.

You confirm you have the right to copy and print the photos you send us. You keep all rights to your photos.
Approval
You see your restored photo before you pay. When you approve it, we print exactly what you approved.
Photos we can't accept
We do not restore or print identity documents, or any photo meant to mislead someone about what really happened.
Custom orders
Every print is made just for you, so prints can't be returned for a change of mind. If something arrives damaged or wrong, see Shipping & Returns.

When it ships
Prints ship in 3 to 5 business days after you approve your photo. Shipping cost is calculated at checkout, and you will get tracking by email.
See it before you pay
You review the restored photo before you pay, and re-dos of the preview are free. Nothing is printed until you approve.
Damaged or wrong
If your print arrives damaged, or it isn't what you approved, we will reprint it or refund you. Email hello@oldphotoprints.com within 30 days with a photo of the print and the package.
Change of mind
Because each print is custom made from your photo, we can't accept returns for a change of mind.
Your photos
We delete your photos after your order is done.
